Hi! I’m Abby

I am currently a senior at Auburn University pursuing a BFA in Theatre Management and a BA in Creative Writing.

My theatre journey begins with me as a little 10 year old taking a community theatre acting class. I was immediately in love with the community and family aspect of theatre. The idea of all of us working together to create a piece of performance. For me, the act of creating together was way more fulfilling than performing in front of people. When I was 14, I was asked if I wanted to learn stage management, and I found a new way to be involved with the creative process. Being a stage manager for my community theatre led me to college to study stage management. While in college I discovered other ways to be involved with the creative process. My creative horizons kept unlocking, and I know that any way I am involved in a process my key focus on respectful collaboration.

I believe that as artists, we are storytellers. Anyone has the power to tell a story, and I work to empower others to tell their stories, be it fiction or non-fiction, poetry or prose, we all have stories to tell.

When not creating I enjoy immersing myself in the beauty of the natural world. A fun birdwatching adventure is always a way to de-stress.
